2020 - 2021 Ready Set Go

Cedar Fork Community Center will be postponing registration for Ready, Set, Go B and Sibling registration to May 26th. Parents will have until June 1st to make a decision on whether you would like to continue with us.

The lottery for those interested in enrolling for the first time will begin June 3rd and end June 17th. We will be collecting forms in a drop box in front of the Community Center doors. We will be calling people off the lottery June 18th – 25th.

The Ready Set Go Program helps children develop into confident and competent individuals through a child-oriented and fun-filled environment.  This program is designed to introduce children to a classroom environment through the introduction of the alphabet, the numbers 1-10, exploring various themes, and interactive play.  The class will also participate in field trips throughout each session. Participants will need a snack and a drink in spill-proof cups daily.  Participants must be potty-trained and may not wear diapers or pull ups.  Participants must be able to fully understand and follow basic directions and instructions in a group setting.

Early Sibling Registration: Priority registration is given to siblings of current students registered as of April 2, 2020 in Ready, Set, Go A and B. Siblings must reside at the same address as current Ready, Set, Go A or B students. Sibling pre-registration will be Wednesday, April 1, 2020 from 7:00 am-6:00 pm; if the sibling is not registered on this date, they will be able to enter the lottery system beginning April 2, 2020.

Lottery System
To avoid long lines and discourage overnight assembly, registration for both residents and non-residents of Morrisville will be administered by a Lottery System. Completed Registration forms can be dropped off during operating hours at any time from April 6 through April 17. CFCC staff will randomly pull participants into the program via the lottery system.  Once the program is full, we will continue to enroll to the waitlist. Resident forms will be pulled prior to Non-Resident forms. Participants that are randomly selected for the program will be contacted and will be given 72 hours to pay fees at CFCC. This will happen during the week of April 20 – 24, 2020. Only FULLY completed registration forms will be considered for the lottery.

Residents & Non-Residents Registration Form Drop Off Period: April 6 – 17, 2020.

Payment Plan Information
This program can be paid for in full at the time of registration.  The fee can also be split into installments.  The first installment (half of fees) is due upon registration.  The second installment (half) is due on or before November 30, 2020.

2020 - 2021 Academic Adventures in Kindergarten Readiness

Academic Adventures will expose your 4-5 year old to various educational concepts that will focus on a specific topic while incorporating other fundamental skills such as socialization, fine and gross motor skills, and conceptual learning as a great preparation for Kindergarten. Science Extravaganza will include hands on experiments, exploration and discovery. Ready for Reading will introduce your child to letter sounds, sight words and literary resources. Math Matters will focus on numbers, patterns and mathematical manipulation.

All participants must be potty trained (no diapers or pull-ups) at least 4 by the start date of the session. Please pack a healthy snack for your child to enjoy each afternoon.

An Open House for Academic Adventures will be on the Wednesday prior to each session from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm. It will provide new parents and students an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the classroom, teachers and ask any questions prior to the start of the program.
