Station 1Station One

Station One is staffed with a Captain, Engineer, and Firefighter on Ladder 1, and an Engineer and firefighter on Squad 1 as the primary units responding to protect the south end of Morrisville. The station also houses a reserve engine, utility truck and a technical rescue trailer.

Station Two

Station Two is staffed with a Captain, Engineer, Master Firefighter, and Firefighter on Ladder 2. Rescue 2 is staffed by a Lieutenant and Engineer. The Battalion Chief is also at station two and rides Battalion 1. Station Two was built in 1999 to cover the northern section of Morrisville.

Station Two covers residential areas such as Breckenridge, Kitts Creek and 4 apartment complexes. The commercial areas within station two’s district include Perimeter Park, a section of RTP within Wake County, and McCrimmon Corners.

Station Two receives and provides mutual aid to Cary FD, Durham County FD, Durham City FD, and RDU Airport CFR.

Station Three

Station 3

Cary, NC 27519

Station Three is staffed with a Captain, Engineer, and a Firefighter on Pumper 3. The station also houses Brush 3. This station is a cohabited station with Cary Fire Department Station Seven.

Station Three was the department’s original station two before the designation was provided on Chapel Hill Road and built in 1999. Before being cohabited with Cary FD station 7, the original station was located at the intersection of NC HWY 55 and Carpenter Fire Station Road.

Station Three covers a section of the Breckenridge neighborhood, a section of RTP within Wake County, and the majority of the rural county district the department covers. This station receives and gives mutual aid to Cary FD, Apex FD, Durham County FD, Durham City FD, and North Chatham FD.
