Board of Adjustment
Purpose: The Zoning Board of Adjustment serves as a quasi-judicial board that acts separately from the Morrisville Board of Commissioners. The Board of Adjustment conducts public hearings and makes rulings on variances from the Zoning Ordinance. Also, this board hears any appeals to decisions made by the Department of Planning & Zoning staff. The Zoning Board of Adjustment consists of 5 members and 2 alternates appointed by the Board of Commissioners. One member is appointed from the Town's extraterritorial jurisdiction.
Meets: 3rd Tuesday of every month (when necessary), 7:00 pm, Town Hall

Community Appearance Committee
Purpose: The Community Appearance Committee's purpose is to develop methods and concepts to improve the general appearance and ambiance of the town; coordinate community appearance workshops and events; plan and staff exhibits at appropriate events to promote community appearance improvement; create educational articles to be published in local news media and the town's newsletter, recommend policies in the form of draft resolutions and ordinances for consideration by the Town Board of Commissioners; and review and comment on budget items related to community appearance.
Meets: 4th Wednesday of the month, 6:00 pm, Public Safety & Municipal Services Building

Planning & Zoning Board
Purpose: Serves an advisory body to the Morrisville Board of Commissioners and deals with land use, zoning and development issues. The Planning and Zoning Board consists of five members and two alternates appointed by the Board of Commissioners. One member is appointed from the Town's extraterritorial jurisdiction.
Meets: 2nd Thursday of each month, 6:00 pm, Town Hall
