The Zoning Board of Adjustment serves as a quasi-judicial board that acts separately from the Morrisville Town Council. The Board of Adjustment conducts public hearings and makes rulings on variances from the Zoning Ordinance. Also, this board hears any appeals to decisions made by the Department of Planning & Zoning staff. The Zoning Board of Adjustment consists of 5 members and 2 alternates appointed by the Town Council. One member is appointed from the Town's extraterritorial jurisdiction.
