The Town of Morrisville’s Environmental & Recycling Advisory Committee (MERC) is committed to community education about recycling and solid waste.  We are also in place for making sure the Town Council has all of the information they need to make sound decisions on solid waste and recycling collection for the Town.

Mission Statement:

The Morrisville Environmental and Recycling Advisory Committee is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our community by raising awareness of environmental issues and encouraging positive action.

The committee is made up of Morrisville residents with a wide range of educational, professional, and solid waste and recycling management backgrounds.  The committee meets the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the Public Works building at 414 Aviation Parkway.  We welcome the public to attend!  Contact us by email at llbelanger@ci.morrisville.nc.us.  Click on the links below to view the minutes of past meetings.
