Morrisville Town Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2017 Budget on June 14, 2016.  The annual budget establishes the means to deliver services to the community for the fiscal year period from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017.

  • Historic Christian Church Parking Lot Expansion
  • Morrisville-Carpenter Road Improvement Right-of-Way Acquisition

 Key Highlights:

  • Annual Operating Budget - $31,925,900 (General Fund and Stormwater)
  • Tax Rate: $0.39 per $100 of valuation (rounded up from calculated Revenue Neutral Tax Rate $0.385
  • Roadway & Transportation Capital Reserve - 1 Cent on Tax Rate annually dedicated to Roadway and Transportation Reserves
  • CIP Capital Reserve – Funding allocation annually to design/construct Capital Investment Projects identified by CIP
  • Vehicle Decal Fee: $15 per residential vehicle
  • User Fees: Modest adjustment to various user fees
  • Stormwater Fee: $25 per ERU
  • 8 New Positions: 4 Police Officers, 1 Police Records Clerk, 1 Projects Manager, 1 Inspector, & 1 Administrative Support
  • Merit Award: Average 3.25%
  • Pay Ranges: 3% market range adjustment
