Morrisville Town Council eager to build connections and finish projects, adopts the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget on May 23, 2017 after careful deliberations. The annual budget establishes the means to deliver services to the community for the fiscal year period from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018.

 Key Highlights:

  • Annual Operating Budget - $34,964,000 (General Fund and Stormwater)
  • Tax Rate: remains $0.39 per $100 of valuation
  • Vehicle Decal Fee: remains $15 per residential vehicle
  • Stormwater Fee: remains $25 per ERU
  • User Fees: Minor cost recovery adjustments to various user fees    
  • 5 New Positions: 3 Firefighters, 1 Transportation Planner, 1 K9 Unit
  • Appropriation of Unassigned Fund Balance for Capital Outlay
  • Building Reserves
