"Morrisville Recycles" Poster Contest

The MERC Poster Contest is an annual project offered to students ages 3 - 12 in the Morrisville Community. This event provides students the opportunity to showcase their talents and commitment to the environment and helps us achieve our goal of increasing knowledge of the three R's - reduce, reuse and recycle.

Green Day

Green Day is an bi-annual event held in April and November which promotes recycling efforts, conservation and green initiatives. The event includes document shredding, electronics recycling and used cooking oil recycling.

MERC participates in Green Day by providing volunteers to help organize the event, manage traffic and unloading of items, as well as providing informational literature. We are always happy to talk with people about the need for recycling, and we look forward to encouraging recycle initiatives at Green Day!
