Community Garden

Morrisville is seeking your input for interest in a community garden here in town. Most community gardens are owned by nonprofit organizations but are open to the public. One of the key ingredients in the success of a community garden is measuring the level of interest and participation among those who are interested.

Community gardens provide access to fresh produce and plants and enhance a sense of community and connection to the environment. It is a place where children and families can learn how to grow healthy food. While community gardens come in many shapes and sizes, they are all publicly functioning in terms of ownership, access, and management.

The Town of Morrisville is currently exploring the possibility of a community garden focused on vegetable gardening. If you have an interest in gardening, regardless of skill or knowledge, please complete our survey!
