The Town of Morrisville’s Adopt-A-Road Program has been established as a public service program for volunteers to enhance local litter collection activities by picking litter up from our Town road rights of way.

Program Benefits:

  • Encourages community spirit and pride
  • Allows local groups to take an active role with the common objective of cleaner and safer communities
  • Keeps our town roads clean and helps to beautify our town.
  • Saves tax dollars

Adopt-A-Road is a great way for environmentally conscious groups and individuals to contribute and keep the Heart of the Triangle beating clean!

Groups Who May Be Interested:

  • Service Groups
  • Church Groups
  • Youth Organizations
  • Area Homeowner Groups
  • Area Apartment Groups
  • Cultural Music Groups
  • Local Businesses
  • Any local group interested in keeping their community clean!

The Town provides trash bags, safety vests (maximum 15) for your group members, safety gloves, road crew safety signs, and pick up and disposal of collected litter. The volunteer group provides personal protective wear, and your time and effort!

All Town roads qualify for adoption, and adopted sections of Town roads are generally .5 to 1 mile in length.
