The Fire Inspections Division of the Town of Morrisville conducts over 600 fire inspections annually. In addition, the division also reviews and approves site plans for new construction in regards to emergency access and fire suppression. New Software Enables Immediate Billing and Payments for Businesses

The Morrisville Fire/Rescue Department is pleased to announce a new automated inspections process that will allow businesses to receive their fire inspection invoices and permits via email. This process is a partnership between the Town of Morrisville and California-based, Fire Recovery USA. The automated process will also allow for businesses to settle their invoice via the internet. This new process will allow for more efficient handling of accounts and will also help to “go green”.
Business owners without email addresses will receive their bills through traditional mail and will likely receive them within five business days. The new software will not affect the way inspections are conducted.

Effective January 1, 2010, The Town of Morrisville began charging fees for routine scheduled fire inspections. This fee schedule includes code mandated fire permits for those commercial business that require one. Expired permits will be renewed as part of the new inspection schedule. No additional action is required from business owner to get the permits renewed.
