Public Transportation

The Transportation and Rural Access (TRACS) Program is now available to Morrisville residents. TRACS provides transportation to the residents of non-urbanized areas of the county.

Service is offered by zone. Morrisville will be included in the Southwest Zone, which serves Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, Apex, and now Morrisville and surrounding areas. Service is shared, demand responsive, and is provided on a first-come, first-served seat available basis. In-Zone trips have priority, but no preference is given to trip style or destination.

Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance at a minimum, or one working day prior for a weekend or holiday. There is an additional charge for same day reservations; due to demand, service may not be available to accommodate same-day requests.
