All household garbage must be in bags and placed in the rolling 96-gallon Waste Industries cart
provided by the Town. All garbage must be placed at the curb no later than 7:00 am on your collection day. All bags should be placed inside the can for collection. Please avoid placing additional garbage bags outside your trash cart or placing your rolling trash container in front of or behind parked vehicles or near storm drain grates. It is most important to remember that all trash and recycling containers must be kept off the street during inclement weather events when streets will need to be plowed.

Residential solid waste is collected in four routes that are identified by color:
- Monday - red
- Tuesday - blue
- Thursday - green
- Friday - yellow
