Celebrate the birth of your new child, along with Arbor Day and the benefits that trees provide to everyone in our community, with a “Grow with Me Tree!” This program helps commemorate Arbor Day while honoring the birth of each new member of the Morrisville community. Trees are a valuable asset for all members of the community, providing beauty and shade, social, communal, environmental, and economical benefits. As your child grows, they will be able to watch their “Grow with Me Tree” flourish!

Who’s eligible? Requirements for participation in the program will be as follows: • Your child’s birthday must be between Arbor Day 2007 (April 27) and Arbor Day 2008 (April 25) • The parents must be residents of Morrisville

Then What? The week after Arbor Day, parents can come to Town Hall and pick up a free tree sapling to be planted on their property in honor of their new baby. Submit a photo of your little one by email to akempf@ci.morrisville.nc.us, and during this week all photos received will be displayed at Town Hall. Personal information (address, phone number, etc.) will remain confidential. The photo of your child will be displayed with first name only.
