The 2017 Morrisville 9/11 Memorial 5k will be held on Saturday, September 10 in honor and in memory of all of the first responders and civilians that lost their lives during the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11, 2001. The race will begin at 8:46 a.m. in front of Morrisville Fire Station 1 with a short opening ceremony.

All first responders who participate will wear the name of a fallen firefighter, police officer or EMT that was killed in the line of duty. Civilian participants are encouraged to wear the name or photo of someone they knew who died in the 9/11 attacks.
The event is open to all ages and registration is $30. The fee includes a race bib, race lanyard with members of Fire, Police or EMS departments that perished on 9/11 and giveaways from our sponsors. Awards will be given to the overall male and female racers, as well as the overall male and female racers wearing their respective fire turnout gear, police uniforms, and EMS uniforms. Proceeds are given to organizations that support Fire, Law Enforcement, and EMS personnel, as well as The 9/11 Foundation.
